Wiley Secures Victory in High-Stakes Bid Protest
Wiley has secured victory on behalf of Guidehouse Inc. in a high-stakes bid protest upholding a U.S. Army accounting services award.
Filed in April 2025, the protest challenged the scope of a corrective action that the Army took following an earlier protest of the contract being awarded to Guidehouse. The protest argued that the Army’s actions were unreasonable and that a solicitation amendment was necessary due to changes in the Army’s needs in the time since the initial solicitation.
The Wiley team secured a denial in the protest from the U.S. Government Accountability Office, which found the Army’s decision to limit proposal revisions during corrective action reasonable and the protestor’s argument to amend the solicitation untimely. Guidehouse was eventually awarded the contract.
Led by Government Contracts partner Brian Walsh, the Wiley team representing Guidehouse also included partners Tracye Winfrey Howard and Cara L. Sizemore, and associates Teresita Regelbrugge and Jonathan C. Clark.
