Eight Wiley Rein & Fielding Attorneys Named to Washingtonian Magazine's List of Top Lawyers
Washington, DC-Wiley Rein & Fielding attorneys Jan Witold Baran, Fred F. Fielding, H. Jason Gold, Valerie P. Morrison, Thomas W. Queen, Barbara "Biz" Van Gelder,James H. Wallace, Jr. and Richard E. Chosen by their peers for inclusion in the list, these "Top Lawyers" represent many of the firm's practices and are a reflection of the firm's diverse talent and capabilities.
Managing Partner Richard E. Wiley is singled out by the magazine as one of "30 Washington attorneys who have attained national and even world-class status in their fields." A former Chairman and Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission, Wiley heads the firm's 70-lawyer Communications Practice, which is acknowledged by Washingtonian as "the nation's largest and most influential." The magazine recognizes Fred Fielding and Biz Van Gelder, chairs of the firm's White Collar Defense Practice, as "Top Criminal Defense Lawyers."
