Hot Topics in Advertising Law
Wiley and BBB National Programs jointly hosted the virtual educational program, Hot Topics in Advertising Law. This Hot Topics session explored the latest developments in food and beverage advertising and promotion, including the use of influencers and claims related to health, organic, environmental, recycling, and sustainability practices.
The program also included a brief overview of the NAD process and key legal principles that guide advertising review and compliance.
Presenters offered a range of perspectives, drawing on experience with NAD, the FTC, the USDA, the FDA, and private litigation.
