Wiley’s Vesna Harasic-Yaksic, Melissa Alba, and Alissa Lynwood Selected for HNBA Leadership Programs
Wiley’s Vesna K. Harasic-Yaksic, Melissa Alba, and Alissa Lynwood have been selected for prestigious Hispanic National Bar Association (HBNA) programs designed to advance Latina attorneys’ professional development.
Harasic-Yaksic, partner in the White Collar Defense & Government Investigations Practice, was accepted into the HNBA Latina Commission’s 2026-2027 Latina Executive Leadership Program, which seeks to elevate attorneys into positions of greater visibility, impact, and influence. The year-long curriculum focuses on developing critical leadership skills, including strategic thinking, resiliency, high-impact communication, and more.
Alba and Lynwood, associates in the Telecom, Media & Technology Practice, were selected for HBNA’s Latina Leadership Academy, which promotes the professional growth and development of early-career attorneys in their first five years of practice. The program equips participants with foundational skills, strategies, and professional relationships, with an emphasis on leadership development, career planning, mentorship, and practical skill-building.
With tens of thousands of members, HNBA represents the interests of Hispanic attorneys, law students, and other legal professionals, and acts as a force for positive change by creating opportunities for Hispanic lawyers and helping generations of lawyers to succeed.
