Wiley Partner Ashley Criss Wins Business Insurance Break Out Award

March 30, 2026

Ashley L. Criss, partner in Wiley’s Insurance Practice, has been selected for a 2026 Break Out Award by Business Insurance magazine. The annual awards program honors 40 professionals on track to be the next leaders in the risk management and property/casualty insurance fields.

Criss is one of only five individuals from law firms who were selected for this year’s Break Out Award, which recognizes risk managers, brokers, insurers, reinsurers, wholesalers, lawyers, and other providers serving the commercial insurance sector.

Recognized last year as a Law360 Rising Star, Criss advises insurers on coverage issues and disputes related to professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers (D&O) liability. She also serves as defense counsel for attorneys and other professionals facing liability lawsuits, threatened claims, and in response to subpoenas.

A profile of Criss will be published in the June/July issue of Business Insurance. This year’s winners will be honored in June at events in Chicago and New York.
