Wiley Rein & Fielding LLP Recognized Among “America’s Leading Business Lawyers”

Washington, DC—Three attorneys from the firm’s Communications and Insurance Practice groups have been recognized, based on market research, as "America’s Leading Business Lawyers" by Chambers and Partners - a leading publisher of legal guides. The research was recently published in Chambers USA America’s Leading Business Lawyers 2003-2004.

Managing Partner Richard E. Wiley was recognized as the leading individual among communications practitioners. He was endorsed to researchers as a "unique communications attorney" with "enormous energy and involvement in all the big issues." The Communications Practice was said to be, "one of the strongest competitors in this area."

The Insurance Practice received high praise from peers who said the firm has a "significant role representing insurance groups." Practice Chair Thomas W. Brunner and Partner Laura A. Foggan were recognized as "two of the top people in their field." Mr. Brunner was commended to researchers as "a consummate diplomat in the settlement context."
