Tracye Howard Discusses CUI Regulations with CyberScoop

Tracye Winfrey Howard, partner in Wiley's Government Contracts Practice, spoke with CyberScoop regarding pending federal regulations surrounding controlled unclassified information (CUI) in the article, "Major rules for federal contractors handling sensitive data are nearing the finish line."

The regulations are “going to be a sea change for a lot of companies," said Howard. “I do think that this creates some significant False Claims at risk for contractors. This is going to encompass a whole new universe of contractors that may not be quite ready for that… contractors that have been working for civilian agencies exclusively have not been subject to this before,” she further noted.
