Tim Brightbill Quoted Regarding Diversification of Solar Imports by S&P Global
Timothy C. Brightbill, co-chair of the International Trade Practice, was quoted by S&P Global in the article "US solar imports diversify in Q2 as trade actions continue to hit supply chain," about the implications of solar imports coming from an increasingly diverse set of countries.
"We're monitoring very closely these rapid surges from new sources, both on cell and module, and that certainly includes the Philippines, which was almost negligible in terms of imports until recently, and then also a number of these African countries, including Ethiopia, Nigeria and others," said Brightbill, further noting that "we're seeing a broader mix of new actors, which just means it's really important to monitor them carefully and make sure that they are competing fairly with US manufacturing."
