Tim Brightbill Discusses Supplemental Section 301 Tariffs with MLex

International Trade Practice co-chair Timothy C. Brightbill was quoted by MLex in the article, "US manufacturers look to Section 301 to supplement duty orders," concerning the use of Section 301 tariffs as supplements to existing duty orders, noting that “It’s clear in many of these manufacturing sectors that we need a combination of investment and trade enforcement to really succeed in domestic manufacturing. Even though some of these tariffs will stack, that might be necessary to truly address the unfair trade and the overcapacity that exists.”
