Martha Marrapese Discusses Implications of East Fork for TSCA Rules
Martha E. Marrapese, partner in Wiley's Environment & Product Regulation Practice, was quoted by Chemical Watch about the implications of the Fifth Circuit's decision in East Fork Enterprises v. EPA for proposed Toxic Substances Control Act risk management rules in the article "What does the Fifth Circuit’s landmark ruling vacating the US EPA’s methylene chloride rule mean for the TSCA programme?"
Marrapese said that one of the most pressing near-term questions that the East Fork ruling raises is what it means for other risk management rules and evaluations. "Can these rules be finalised as proposed, or do the risk evaluations have to be redone?" asked Marrapese.
