Kevin Muhlendorf and Rod Thomas Named Co-Chairs of D.C. Bar White Collar Crime Subcommittee

Washington, DCKevin B. Muhlendorf and Roderick L. Thomas, partners in Wiley’s White Collar Defense & Government Investigations Practice, have been named co-chairs of the District of Columbia Bar’s White Collar Crime Subcommittee. The subcommittee is part of the Criminal Law and Individual Rights Community, which serves lawyers interested in the areas of criminal law and the protection of individual rights.

As a former Assistant Chief in the Fraud Section of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Mr. Muhlendorf brings unique experience to defending complex, and often overlapping, civil and criminal enforcement investigations.

Mr. Thomas is a former federal prosecutor who served for more than 10 years in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, DC, in both the Criminal and Civil Divisions. He specializes in criminal and civil government investigations and litigation, internal investigations, civil fraud allegations, and congressional investigations.
