Morgan L. Chinoy

Morgan represents insurers in complex disputes arising under professional liability, general liability, and employment practices liability policies. She provides strategic advice and counseling to assist clients in navigating underlying exposures and developing effective solutions to coverage disputes. In addition to serving as coverage and monitoring counsel, Morgan litigates coverage and bad faith actions nationwide.

Representative Matters

• Counsels insurers on coverage issues and disputes for claims across a variety of industries, including health care institutions and providers, lawyers, engineers, insurance agents, real estate professionals, and financial institutions and professionals.
• Prevailed in arbitration on behalf of Wiley’s insurer client addressing “related claims” and reinsurance issues for claims against healthcare providers.
• Obtained arbitration award determining that Wiley’s insurer client did not owe coverage under a professional liability policy for claims involving a fraud scheme perpetrated by a financial advisor.
• Significant experience advising insurers on sexual abuse claims under professional liability and general liability policies.
