Wiley partner Joshua S. Turner was quoted by Politico Pro (subscription required), Law360, and Multichannel News in coverage of a January 25 D.C. Circuit hearing on the FCC’s reallocation of spectrum in the 5.9 GHz band. Turner argued on behalf of the petitioners – the Intelligent Transportation Society of America and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials – who are challenging the FCC’s 2020 decision to set aside some of the 5.9 GHz automotive safety spectrum for use by unlicensed wireless devices.
