Diana Shaw Discusses Potential Changes in Congressional Oversight with National Journal
Diana R. Shaw, partner in the White Collar Defense & Government Investigations Practice, discussed potential changes in Congressional oversight priorities with the National Journal in the article, "C-suites brace for a Democratic Congress." In the article, Shaw noted that, if the Democrats take control of Congress, “Leading up to the next presidential election, they’re going to want to show that the Democratic majority in the House is active, that they’re energized, but they’re not going to be able to do that legislatively, so the only thing they can do is pursue aggressive oversight.”
