Dick serves as senior counsel to Wiley. He has represented the nation's largest radio broadcasting company and the largest television group owner. He has helped structure and obtain regulatory approvals for numerous transactions as the industry has consolidated and provides day-to-day Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulatory advice. He is a member of the Maryland Public Broadcasting Commission and serves on the board of the Maryland Public Television Foundation. He has also served on the boards of the Association of Public Television Stations (APTS) and Commonwealth Public Broadcasting Corporation, now Virginia Public Media.

  • Represented Nexstar Media Group in obtaining FCC approval for its $7.2 billion acquisition of Tribune Media Company, creating the country’s largest local television broadcaster and media company.
  • Represented iHeartMedia, Inc., on FCC matters in connection with its Chapter 11 restructuring, which involved consolidated debts of more than $20 billion and was the largest restructuring of 2018.
