Wiley Rein LLP Statement on President Biden’s Federal Communications Commission Nominees

May 22, 2023

Wiley Rein LLP issued the following statement regarding President Biden’s nominees to the Federal Communications Commission:

“We congratulate our former colleague Anna Gomez on her nomination by the Biden Administration to be a Commissioner on the Federal Communications Commission. Anna has a wealth of experience having previously worked for the Federal Communications Commission, in industry, and on Capitol Hill, as well as having been a senior official at NTIA. As we have seen firsthand, Anna is a natural leader who seeks the best outcomes for the American people. If confirmed, Anna’s experience on spectrum management, public safety communications, and her work to expand broadband access and adoption both domestically and globally will undoubtedly benefit all Americans. We would also like to congratulate FCC Commissioners Brendan Carr and Geoffrey Starks for their nominations to continue to serve on the FCC.”
