4th Quarter Deadlines
Form 317 DTV Ancillary/Supplementary Services Report—By December 1, all commercial and noncommercial DTV licensees and permittees—including digital low power television stations; digital translator television stations and digital Class A television stations—must file Form 317 reporting whether ancillary or supplementary services were provided during the preceding twelve-month period ending September 30.
Ownership Reports
Non-Commercial Radio Stations: By December 1, non-commercial radio stations located in Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota must file a biennial ownership report on the Form 323-E.
Non-Commercial Television Stations: By December 1, non-commercial television stations located in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Alabama and Georgia must file a biennial ownership report on the Form 323-E.
EEO Public File Reports
All radio and television stations with more than five full-time employees located in Alabama, Georgia, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont must place its EEO Public File Report in the station's public inspection files by December 1. Please remember, if your station has a website, then the EEO Report must be posted on the website as well.
Radio Renewals
Post-filing announcements: Radio stations in Iowa and Missouri must air post-filing renewal announcements on the 1st and 16th days of October, November and December. Within seven days of broadcasting the last post-filing announcement, stations must place a statement certifying compliance with the public announcement requirement in the public inspection file.
Pre-filing announcements: Radio stations in Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota must air pre-filing renewal announcements on the 1st and 16th days of October and November.
Renewal filing deadline: By December 1, radio stations in Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota must electronically file a renewal application on FCC Form 303-S.
Post-filing announcements: Radio stations in Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota must air post-filing renewal announcements on the 1st and 16th days of December 2012 and January and February 2013. Pre-filing announcements: Television stations in Alabama and Georgia must air pre-filing renewal announcements on the 1st and 16th days of October and November.
Renewal filing deadline: By December 1, television stations in Alabama and Georgia must electronically file a renewal application on FCC Form 303-S.
Post-filing announcements: Television stations in Alabama and Georgia must air post-filing renewal announcements on the 1st and 16th days of December 2012 and January and February 2013.
Pre-filing announcements: Television stations in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi must air pre-filing renewal announcements on the 1st and 16th days of December 2012 and January 2013.
