Gary Horowitz to Serve on the Planning Group of the NBAA's Tax Committee
Wiley Rein's Gary Horowitz has recently been appointed to the Planning Group of the National Business Aviation Association's (NBAA) Tax Committee.
Founded in 1947 and based in Washington, DC, the NBAA is the leading organization for companies that rely on general aviation aircraft to help make their businesses more efficient, productive and successful. The Association represents more than 8,000 companies and provides more than 100 products and services to the business aviation community, including the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention, the world's largest civil aviation trade show.
The Tax Committee's efforts are focused in the area of taxes affecting business/corporate aircraft and the impact of the Internal Revenue Service rules, Securities and Exchange Commission rules and the Federal Aviation Regulations. The Committee explores the implications of these rules and regulations, as well as the differences between IRS and FAA interpretation/definition of business aircraft, and develops resources for NBAA members in each of these areas.
