Megan Brown Comments on Biden’s Reported Nominee for Key Cybersecurity Role

Inside Cybersecurity
January 22, 2021

Megan L. Brown, partner in Wiley’s Privacy, Cyber & Data Governance, National Security, and Telecom, Media, & Technology practices, was quoted in a January 22 Inside Cybersecurity article about reports that President Biden plans to nominate Rob Silvers to lead the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

“I’ve worked with Rob in the private sector and he’s smart, thoughtful, and collaborative,” Ms. Brown said. “A breath of fresh air, frankly. He believes in the partnership mission of CISA and is a great choice to take the agency forward. This is particularly critical as so many other agencies are playing in the same spaces and risk duplication of effort. CISA will have to work with other agencies and the private sector to build and maintain trust.”
