"Lyn" Brown, partner in the Privacy, Cyber & Data Governance Practice, was quoted by the Cybersecurity and AI Law Report in the article "Federal-Private Sector Partnership May Bolster the War on Cybercrime," regarding the implications of a White House proposal to enlist private sector companies to combat cybercrime.

The program represents a "major shift in public policy," Brown said, adding that it "leverages private sector access and capabilities and converts the private sector essentially into a force multiplier for the government." She added that the program will not be a "one size fits all" and that "threat intelligence companies will probably be very much involved on the cyber surveillance piece."
