Thomas M. Johnson, Jr., co-chair of Wiley’s Issues and Appeals Practice, has been named a 2025 MVP by Law360 in the Telecommunications category.

In its profile of Johnson, Law360 noted that he stood out for his work persuading the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) lacked the authority to reinstate net neutrality rules, a high-stakes decision with significant implications for the telecom industry. It was “really exciting to be challenging that rule during a time of change in administrative law,” Johnson told Law360.
