Caleb P. Burns, co-chair of Wiley's Election Law & Government Ethics Practice, was quoted by Law360 regarding attorney political donations in the article "$5.6M From Legal Industry Fuels NY Congressional Midterms."

"As a profession, attorneys are seemingly predisposed to making political contributions," Burns told Law360. He further noted that many attorneys attended law school because they had an "intellectual interest in the laws that govern us" and that "it is only natural that attorneys would have an acute interest in who formulates and passes those laws and to support likeminded candidates."
