March 5, 2014

The Washington Post Magazine, in a February 13 cover story, featured author and lawyer Helen Wan who spoke at Wiley Rein’s Washington, DC office last fall.  During the event, Ms. Wan read excerpts of her new novel, The Partner Track, which addresses challenges facing Asian Americans in the legal profession.  Wiley Rein co-sponsored the event with the DC chapter of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association.

Ms. Wan—an associate general counsel at Time Inc.—grew up in the Northern Virginia suburb of Burke.  The novel is currently in its second printing, following the initial run of 50,000 copies in September.  Ms. Wan has been invited to speak at law firms and law schools across the country to discuss diversity in the legal profession and promote her new novel.
