Final Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Rule and Guidance to be Published in Federal Register

The final Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Rule and final U.S. Department of Labor Guidance implementing Executive Order 13673, Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces, will be published tomorrow in the Federal Register. Pre-publication versions are available here and here. The final Rule will be effective October 25, 2016, with application phased in. We will send our analysis of the final Rule and Guidance—in particular all notable changes from the proposed versions—in a follow-on alert.
