Communications Daily Cites Wiley Rein Blog Post on Drone Registration Rules for Hobbyists

Katy M. Ross, an attorney in Wiley Rein’s Telecom, Media & Technology and Unmanned Aircraft Systems practices, drafted a blog post, “Just in Time for the Holidays, Drone Registration is Back,” describing a new law that brings back Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules requiring hobbyists to register their drones. The law, part of the National Defense Authorization Act signed by President Trump on December 12, was covered by Communications Daily – which cited Wiley Rein’s blog analysis. Ms. Ross was recently promoted from associate to partner at Wiley Rein, effective January 1, 2018.
