Anna Gomez Co-Moderates FCBA Women’s History Month Event Featuring Government Agency Leaders
Washington, DC – Anna M. Gomez, partner in Wiley’s Telecom, Media & Technology (TMT) Practice and Treasurer of the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA), is co-moderating an FCBA Women’s History Month fireside chat today with government agency leaders.
The virtual event will feature speakers Evelyn Remaley, Acting Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information at the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA); Jessica Rosenworcel, Acting Chairwoman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC); and Rebecca Kelly Slaughter, Acting Chair of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
The fireside chat, co-moderated by Ms. Gomez and FCBA President Natalie Roisman, will focus on the speakers’ career paths and their agencies’ top priorities. Mignon Clyburn, former Commissioner and Acting Chairwoman of the FCC, will make introductory remarks at the event.
Ms. Gomez was appointed FCBA Treasurer last year, continuing Wiley’s long tradition of leadership in the federal communications bar. She also serves as Chair of the FCC’s Advisory Committee on Diversity and Digital Empowerment.
At Wiley, Ms. Gomez specializes in regulatory, policy, and transactional matters related to domestic and international telecommunications and unmanned aircraft systems. She also co-chairs the firm’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Practice. Prior to joining Wiley in 2013, Ms. Gomez served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Communications and Information at the NTIA, and also worked for 12 years in various leadership positions at the FCC.
