Representative Matters

  • Monitors, analyzes, and engages federal and state legislators and agency staff on proposed domestic and international legislative and regulatory developments affecting various segments of the environmental and product safety industries, including rechargeable batteries and electronics containing them, pesticide, chemical, food and drug, employee health and safety, and consumer product industries.
  • Interacts frequently with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
  • Assists clients with the procurement of Competent Authority Approvals and Special Permits from the DOT and foreign transportation agencies for shippers of hazardous materials/dangerous goods.
  • Assists clients with pesticide and chemical submissions required under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) and the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
