WRF Files Antidumping Petition against Diamond Sawblades from China and South Korea
Washington, DC—On May 3, 2005, Wiley Rein & Fielding LLP, on behalf of the Diamond Sawblades Manufacturers' Coalition (DSMC), filed an antidumping duty petition with the Department of Commerce and the International Trade Commission against diamond saw blades from China and South Korea.
The petition alleges that unfairly priced imports from China and Korea are surging at record levels, and that such unfairly traded imports are injuring the U.S. domestic industry and will cause further harm if not remedied by the Department of Commerce and International Trade Commission.
The petition filed on behalf of the DSMC provides estimated dumping margins for the Chinese and Korean imports of 298.39 percent and 62.78 percent, respectively.
